Role Overview
Saudi Gold Refinery (SGR) is seeking a Graphic Designer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to create high-quality visual assets that support our corporate, operational, and strategic communication needs. This role translates complex mining, refining, and exploration data into clear, compliant visual formats for executive reporting, investor relations, and internal safety campaigns. The position ensures all visual output aligns with SGR's brand guidelines and supports the company's strategic positioning within the Saudi mining sector.
The Graphic Designer play a key role in maintaining our corporate identity and enhancing our visual communication standards. This position requires a disciplined professional who can manage multiple projects and deliver precise, impactful designs for diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
The Graphic Designer will execute the following responsibilities to support SGR's operational and corporate objectives.
Corporate Brand Governance
The role enforces strict adherence to SGR's brand guidelines across all internal and external visual outputs to maintain a professional corporate image. This includes updating the brand style guide and auditing existing materials for compliance.
Executive Presentation Design
The designer creates high-stakes presentation decks for the Deputy CEO and executive team for use in board meetings and government engagements. These materials must accurately reflect SGR's strategic priorities and Vision 2030 alignment.
HSE Visual Support
The role collaborates with the HSE department to design clear, compliant safety signage and instructional graphics for plant and laboratory environments. This ensures that critical safety information is accessible to all workforce tiers.
Investor Relations Assets
The designer produces visual narratives for annual reports and sustainability disclosures that accurately reflect SGR's ESG performance. This involves translating complex geological and refining data into clear infographics.
Digital Marketing Content
The role designs digital assets for SGR's website and professional networks to highlight exploration milestones and refining capabilities. These assets must meet professional industry standards and engage target audiences effectively.
Operational Procedure Guides
The designer produces visual aids for standard operating procedures, ensuring that technical instructions are accessible to operators and technicians. This supports consistent and safe execution of daily plant activities.
Vendor Management
The role manages relationships with external printing and digital production vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery. This includes reviewing vendor deliverables against technical specifications before final approval.
Asset Library Management
The designer maintains a centralized digital asset management system to organize and archive all approved visual materials. This ensures efficient retrieval and version control for all departments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of five years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within an industrial or corporate environment.
- Demonstrates advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
- Proven portfolio showcasing expertise in corporate branding, infographic design, and multi-format layout production.
- Exhibits strong understanding of print production processes, including color management and finishing techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English to interpret technical briefs accurately.
- Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines in a structured environment.
- The candidate shows awareness of Saudi cultural norms and regulatory requirements in visual communication.
Preferred / Nice-to-have
- The candidate has prior experience working with mining, oil and gas, or heavy industrial companies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- The candidate possesses basic skills in motion graphics or video editing software such as After Effects or Premiere Pro.
- The candidate has experience designing for sustainability reports or ESG disclosures in alignment with international standards.
- The candidate demonstrates familiarity with Arabic typography and bilingual layout design principles.
- The candidate holds an Adobe Certified Professional certification or equivalent industry-recognized credential.

- The designer establishes and maintains a fully updated digital asset library with 100% of current brand materials archived.
- All executive presentations and investor reports produced by the role receive positive feedback for clarity and professionalism.
